Ataraxia
El proyecto consiste en una reforma integral de una vivienda en el centro de Granada. Como idea generadora de proyecto, se busca la conexión de estancias y que el espacio respire, aprovechando la doble altura existente.
Se articula en torno a dos niveles, el inferior que consta de cocina, un baño, un dormitorio secundario y salón, y el superior que alberga el dormitorio principal, abierto a la doble altura.
Se opta por materiales en colores neutros, con el objetivo de destacar la escalera como elemento escultórico protagonista, en el que los peldaños parecen nacer de la vegetación que hay tras ellos.
La continuidad del pavimento, en microcemento, refuerza la idea de conexión, donde es confuso saber en qué estancia nos encontramos en cada momento.
The project consists of a comprehensive reform of a house in the center of Granada. As a generating idea for the project, the connection of rooms is sought and the space breathes, taking advantage of the existing double height.
It is articulated around two levels, the lower one consisting of a kitchen, a bathroom, a secondary bedroom and a living room, and the upper one that houses the main bedroom, open to the double height.
Materials in neutral colors are chosen, with the aim of highlighting the staircase as the main sculptural element, in which the steps seem to be born from the vegetation behind them.
The continuity of the pavement, in microcement, reinforces the idea of connection, where it is confusing to know which room we are in at any moment.
